From our collab collection with the one-and-only Rory Kramer.
Who is Rory Kramer you might ask? Well he has been Slunking around the world for 36 years. He has lived his life to the fullest and then some! Throughout the years, he’s captured his Slunky lifestyle by creating videos of his everyday life! He caught his big break when he was approached to film and star in the Avicii music video "The Nights." Since then he has made amazing videos for some of the biggest artists in the world such as Justin Bieber, Avicii, The Chainsmokers, Martin Garrix, Krewella, and many more! Not only did all of these big artists love the videos Rory made for them but more importantly he has built amazing friendships with each and every one of them! In 2017, he hosted his own series on MTV called “Dare to Live”
Outside of being an amazing videographer, Rory is a great person and that is why we wanted to do a collab with him! He lives the life we want the brand name to represent! He has been in the spotlight for so long and has so many celebrity friends but if you sat down and had a beer with him you’d see he is such a genuine, grounded person who values family and the relationships he builds. He hasn't always had an easy road though. Rory has dealt with with anxiety, depression, and his father's battle with cancer! On July 13 2018 he was in a horrible car accident that almost took his life! Luckily he has made a full recovery from the car accident and lives to help people understand the importance of mental health. The Chainsmokers and Kygo actually made a tribute song/video about Rory highlighting the seriousness of Mental Health. Rory is now married to his beautiful wife Amy Disser who he met back in the day at their families cottages on the lake! Rory has endured his fair share of ups and downs that life sometimes throws at us and he has managed to conquer his demons and has certain life sayings that resonate for him that we have written into these Matrix themed Slunks! At the end of the day Slunks is about being a part of a family and understanding that we are all in this thing called life together! Whether you are a famous videographer, singer, athlete, actor, or just a normal person we can be there for one another like a big family would! Hopefully one day you will get the opportunity to meet Rory, one of the Slunkiest people on the planet!
